My husband grew up in the countryside. When we moved in together after our wedding, he bought a tuned wind chime for our balcony. We lived on the eighth floor of an apartment building so it could get windy at times. The tuned wind chime was specially chosen. My husband listened to several hand tuned wind chimes before choosing the one that we have now.

It is not easy looking for a tuned wind chime. Most of the time, the ones you can buy in the department stores are plain. A hand tuned wind chime sounds like notes being played when the wind blows. It costs a little more than the average wind chime but it’s very relaxing to have at home. Imagine hearing a melody whenever the wind blows. There’s just nothing quite like it.
