Double hammocks are bigger in size and are made of sturdy material; the better to hold a weightier load. You have the choice of choosing one with a bar that spreads out the hammock for more comfortable accommodation.
When shopping for a double hammock, you will find many different types to choose from. Special care should be taken to choose one that will be strong enough to carry more than one person. A true double hammock should be able to safely support at least 200 pounds, preferably higher. It should also be roomy enough for two average size adults to lie down on comfortably.
