Before you even start choosing the material of your hammock, study the place where you want to hang it. The best location is a shady and windy place outdoors. With the variety of hammocks available these days, it will not be difficult to find the exact kind of hammock that will be ideal for the place you chose to set it up. Measure the space if you must. And identify posts or tree trunks from which your hammock will hang.
Determine the material that you’d want your hammock to be made of. Cotton has been used for a long time because of the comfort that it imparts. However, it is not very durable and in the case of cotton rope, the threads can lose their strength rather quickly. The main reason to choose a polyester hammock is its durability. This is especially true if you have to leave them outside. It is also resistant to stains and less susceptible to mildew.
