We seek the bed or a couch when our body needs to rest. Hammocks are good for resting the body, too. The swinging motion creates a rhythm that adds to the relaxing state. Studies have shown that hammocks can actually reduce a person’s physical stress. The relaxing set-up can actually relieve pressure from the muscles.
We seek relaxation to help our body. What better way do to this than spending a few hours on the hammock? The free form quality of the hammock actually encourages the vertebrae to align themselves. You will feel relaxed and with nary a pain on the neck. Isn’t that enough reason to hang a hammock on your porch?
