Lady with a Green Thumb

My mother has a green thumb. She can grow anything and loves doing so in the spacious garden we have at the back of our house. There, she has patches for flowers and shrubs as well as designated lots for various vegetables. She sometimes harvests so much and give the extras to friends and neighbors.
It is no wonder that people keep giving her gardening tools and flower or vegetable garden seeds as gifts for all occasions of the year. She is such an inspiration to budding gardeners that a lot of neighborhood kids would often hang out at our house during weekends and help mom weed her garden. As a thank you, mom gives fresh produce to those kids’ families during harvest time.
