A Convenient Way of Growing a Raised Garden

Raised bed gardening is a popular way of growing a plants. The soil is formed in 3-4 foot wide beds with the soil raised above the surrounding soil. Compost soil is usually used on the mound and the space is enclosed by a frame which may be made of wood, brick, rock or anything that will hold the soil. The raised soil can go as high as 6 inches above the surrounding land. Depending on the frame used, it can even be higher, some as high as the waist.

Using Orcaboard is a conveniently way of growing a raised garden. An Orcaboard raised garden makes use of a kit that is strong and durable. Best of all, it is made from recycled milk jugs and are non-toxic. When ordered, they come collapsed but can be easily assembled. Simply lock the grooved panels in place and fill with compost.
