I love looking at modern houses. They make me feel so at ease and I often get impressed at how design and architecture blend beautifully together. Last month we were invited to a friend’s house for a baby shower. The part’s hostess lived in a big modern house with a garden and a small pond in the middle. The pond had koi fishes and was illuminated with pond lights.

The look of the entire house was very relaxing. The owner wanted to bring as much of the outdoors indoors. The pond lights came from the bottom and the sides of the pond and made the whole garden look elegant. We could see how big her fishes were and how intricately her pond was designed. It came as no surprise to us that the owner had hired one of the well known environmental architects around.
