My husband and I have already retired and have turned over the family business to our children. We are at a certain age when we would want to enjoy our lives and have fun while we are able to travel and relish the fruits of our labor. After all, we deserve a break after all these years of having worked so hard to establish the business.
One of the things I requested from my husband is to have the backyard transformed into a great garden. I have always wanted one, and dreamt of being like the Martha Stewart type of wife. But my husband needed me to help out, so this is the only time when I am able to pursue what I want. Aside from a fountain and different herbs and produce, I have garden statues which surround the space. I have everything I need; better late than never.
