Most people I know grew up in the city. Most people who grow up in the city have trouble adjusting to rural life. When you live in the country, life isn’t exactly the same as life in the countryside. Just because you like enjoy horseback riding in Central Park, that doesn’t mean you’ll want to live in a ranch. Living in a ranch surrounded by horses, barns, saddle racks and hay entails a lot of responsibilities.
If you go riding in the club or in the park, chances are there’s someone there to take care of the horses. That person makes sure the equipment is kept safe and maintained properly. That person ensures that the saddles are placed neatly in the saddle racks. That person also cares for the horses and the trail. These people make your riding experience more pleasant and safe.
