Fountain for Birds

Living and working in New York City can be very stressful. Contrary to what some people may think, not all single ladies have fabulous lifestyles like Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte. Like some New Yorkers I escape upstate to my Aunt’s country home to rest and sleep for hours. I am able to rejuvenate while I sit on my Aunt’s bench watching the birds playing on the garden birdbaths. These moments may be a complete waste of time to others but to me they’re much better than a day at the spa.

My aunt adores her garden. She likes hearing the birds chirp in the mornings. She has fountains and little garden birdbaths all around them. There is nothing like waking up to the sound of birds chirping instead of a police car siren. We do live for these moments. The best things in life are free indeed.
