A birdbath will also be a fine way to provide the necessary water for birds. Birdbaths are not difficult to set up. Any shallow container will work; all that is needed is about two inches of water and something to perch on. It can be made of different materials such as glass, metal or plastic but the most common material used for bird baths is concrete. It can be formed into different attractive designs and it will be usable for a long time.

Some birdbaths are outfitted with mechanisms witch supply flowing water. These bird fountains are fun to have as the sound alone can provide a calming feel. They may be fun to behold but they require some care and maintenance. Always keep the bird bath clean. Be sure that there is a steady supply of clean, cool water for the health and well being of the birds.
