thistle bird feeders

I love to wake up to the song of birds chirping. I live in the suburbs that sometimes attract birds more particularly song birds. My friend suggested I buy thistle bird feeders. According to her, it will attract goldfinches or wild canaries. It is supposedly common to North America but unfortunately I’ve seen them once or twice at most.

The thistle bird feeders should solve that problem. I bought one yesterday and am excited to see the results. Thistle seeds are supposed to be irresistible to them. My thistle bird feeder is tube feeder that can hold about two pounds of thistle seeds. I’m optimistic I’ll see a goldfinch or two tomorrow or next week.
